This year Ruby really enjoyed lighting the candles. She was also getting pretty good at singing the prayers, and she could sing the dreidel song herself. We had what was supposed to be a little hanukah party. But since we are lucky to have so many nice friends it ended up being pretty big. Nine kids with accompanying parents showed up. Our neighbors brought a second menorah and all the kids were very good about sharing candle lighting.
