Ruby Washes Mommy's Face

Ruby Gets Her Big Girl Bed

I have to figure out how to post from my Mac. Until then, I will try to use my old PC to post here, if its working.

Ruby helped sweep up and prepare for the removal of the crib. Bye-bye beautiful crib! Ruby is a great helper.

She had moments of feeling sad about losing it. But she is pretty excited about the big bed. She loves to invite people to come over and see it. She was particularly excited about the purple sheets, which we picked out together at the store.

Ruby's music class

So far Ruby's favorite things to play are drums and guitar. She plays her new guitar at home and made up a good-bye song to sing to daddy when he leaves for work.

We have her in a group music class playing mini sized real instruments and learning musical concepts and notes. She loves it. Her session is for kids aged 2 1/2-4.

The last few minutes of the class are spent dancing. Here are some pictures of the class and a video of the last dance party.

Ruby Packs to Visit Grandma Linda and Papa Marvin

Well, the computer issue is getting resolved so hopefully I will be posting more regularly soon.

Here is Ruby packing her clothes for her airplane trip tomorrow.

Some more pics from Thanksgiving weekend

We havent taken many pictures in the past week but we love these from Linda and Marvin's visit.

They came by on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and we came back early from Mendocino to see them. Paul made his delicious pancakes for the whole group, including Alex and little Aurora, Robin and little Dex, and Ken & Eugene.

Then we walked up the street to the house that has the chickens and goats. And after that Grandpa pushed Ruby in a car-stroller at a mall. Ruby was delighted with the ride and all the christmas decorations.

Picking Raspberries

Here are two videos of Ruby at Harriet and Larry's house in Albion, picking and eating raspberries off the vine.

Ruby making appetizers

Here is a video of Ruby placing little toasts on a plate and putting a 1/2 hazelnut on top of each.
