Happy Valentine's Day!

After pancakes, we shared stickers and danced all together. Ruby likes the marching song best ("Ta ra ra boomdeay"). Watch Ruby stop and stare at the stereo when she hears Elmo say her name on the CD.

We have some new friends in the neighborhood. Aaron (age 7) and his family have 7 cats. We met them on one of our evening walks looking for cats and dogs. Now we visit each other and Ruby is enthralled by all Aaron shows her, like how to play the candy land board game.

Ruby Gets Her Big Girl Bed

I have to figure out how to post from my Mac. Until then, I will try to use my old PC to post here, if its working.

Ruby helped sweep up and prepare for the removal of the crib. Bye-bye beautiful crib! Ruby is a great helper.

She had moments of feeling sad about losing it. But she is pretty excited about the big bed. She loves to invite people to come over and see it. She was particularly excited about the purple sheets, which we picked out together at the store.

Ruby's music class

So far Ruby's favorite things to play are drums and guitar. She plays her new guitar at home and made up a good-bye song to sing to daddy when he leaves for work.

We have her in a group music class playing mini sized real instruments and learning musical concepts and notes. She loves it. Her session is for kids aged 2 1/2-4.

The last few minutes of the class are spent dancing. Here are some pictures of the class and a video of the last dance party.
